Needless to elaborate much, the two words and the OBVIOUS title above say it all – me and a bunch of college mates went to Genting Highlands indeed! However, it was about a week ago on the 15th of May. Sorry about the “procrastination” I would say, because I was waiting for all the Genting pictures to get to my hand, and it finally did today! So, here am I blogging about the Genting trip! =)
It was actually Jeremy’s idea to go to Genting after the ADP finals and he just dragged Edwin and me into organizing and planning the trip. However, Jeremy and I became inactive after awhile due to some personal reasons, leaving Edwin as the only ORGANIZER! We have to give credits to him though because he did quite a good job although not all things went on smoothly as planned. =P
Edwin had us all waiting at the Pudu Bus Station as early as 8.30 in the morning only to find out later that the RM42 package we wanted was unavailable there. Adding to our disappointment was that the next bus would only be leaving at 11. Leaving us without a choice, we went to Titiwangsa by KTM to catch the 9.30 bus.
Yes, we got the bus tickets but unfortunately, not all of us got a seat for ourselves. Squeeeeeze we had to. =) After about an hour of bus ride, arrived we did!
Off we went to Pirate Ship after getting our hands tagged. Too bad, it was temporarily closed for maintenance, making Go Kart our first FUN ride!
Yes, we were required to wear that fugly bath cap that made us all looked like some quarantined patients of swine flu! =(My go-kart was so slow that my grandma could even walk faster than it without a walking stick. The peddle was pressed to its maximum, but the go-kart moved forward at a speed of 10km/h just as before. It was a boring and frustrating ride! Seeing others picking up speed, I couldn’t help but watched with envy.
Anyway, the guys decided to ride the Solero!
While the 3 of them had fun experiencing free fall, Chloe and I had fun riding the Ferris wheel.
Then we went for some swings to swing off all the stress!
Fun swing we had and some shouted for an Encore, I shouted for a break instead! =D That little swing made me feel a little nauseous.
While Edwin, Peter, and Jeremy had their second boring round of swing (it’s obvious that you guys are bored!), Aaroni, Calvin, Chloe, and I went for the Carousel!
Next, Cyclone – Malaysia’s first roller coaster ride! Had fun torturing Aaroni with my screams! =)
Bumper Boat – The most awesome ride in Genting! *only if you brought along a bunch of awesome friends* =) Poor Edwin had a bad time because his boat had some insy-winsy problems, which turned out not quite insy-winsy! Haha.
Me thanking the Lord for the water He granted me. My jeans and arse were all drenched in salty, stinky water! It took hours to dry. After some awesome “bumping,” we decided to have our lunchy but there was this red London bus attracted us! Took pictures we did!
Then came Shannon, Qila, Nikko, Ern Teck, and Rushdi! Took more pictures we did!
Hoodies got famous and were joined by others! =)Second round of go-kart after lunch! This time round, my go-kart was super awesome! Enjoyable ride indeed!
Second round of Bumper Boat and it was as awesome as the first ride!
Had a whale of time at the Bumper Boat! To the Pirate Ship!
We parted after all the screams and ecstatic shouts at Pirate Ship. All went to ride the Rolling Thunder Mine Train except for Aaroni, Calvin, Chloe, and Me. The whole thing was complicated! At first, we decided to ride RTMT but Aaroni, Calv, and Chloe stayed behind to capture some photos. They lost sight of us and decided to take another train ride *I don’t know what it’s called* instead. I went to find them! Saw them but failed to catch up with them. I ended up in a train all by myself. Called Chloe and we sat another round together. =)
Hate to say this, but it’s time for us to go back!
While waiting for the bus …
In the bus …
In the monorail …
Is there more? Sad to say, we came to the end of the day, tired but satisfied! =)
