Envious

I apologize for my blog has slacken =) Actually, it's not the matter of time that hinders me from being able to manage some time to update my blog. It's my life, my ever simple life with no intriguing happenings to reminisce about that impedes the progress of my bloggie.

It has been a week ago since I last updated my blog. And ever since then, nothing extraordinary and no exhilarating events have occurred in my life that are worth recalling and worth sharing with all of you. Maybe there are but I have not noticed them just yet.

This particular week passed by swiftly without any particular reasons that I particularly know
of. Everything is going well for me as usual. But there is something I have to tell you. Being the top student of a class is something for one to be proud of, but at the same time, a great hefty burden will be placed on one's shoulders as well. Trust me. I am a veteran xD

I took the Macroeconomics subject this semester and got a lecturer with a doctorate who came from Croatia. Cool eh? He is crazy over football and often stay up late to watch the EURO 2008 live on TV3 and NTV7 whether or not there is class the following morning. Cooler eh? His favourite word is "BRAVO", followed by handshakes. He once commented on our sissy handshakes too. One more thing. A lecturer- Miss Lynn from ADP department hates him very much but I don't know why. She hates him even more (I suppose) when my lecturer kissed her hand. (you should see how she wipes her hand later on with a disgusted look on her face)

Ok. It so happens that I got the highest score for the first Macroeconomics quiz and since then he has been expecting the best out of me. He referred me as his "SUPERMAN" -.-" The second quiz was yesterday. He asked me not to be like Turkey, where they played very well for the first few games and screwed up the following games. In short, he wanted me to maintain my hardwork and achievements. He added that he was waiting to see my score for this second quiz. Oh right. What have I done. His attention is all towards me now. Stress.. Bahh..

Anyway, it's also a good thing to have a lecturer noticing your presence, encouraging you and appreciating your achievements =) The first thing he told me was, "I didn't know you are a great student".

Ok. Enough of that. Later someone will say that I'm being lan si.

Dreams for thought

Wednesday was a real tiring day. It was IPRMSA's corporate theme day and me as a member of the club was supposed to be wearing formal attire to show some support to the club but I turned out to be wearing a shirt and a pair of long pants. How disappointing.. But that's me. My friend Dickson was the one semangat enough to wear formal attire.

Something strange happened on that day itself. Everyone seemed to be wearing PINK or RED? WEIRD. Anyway, it wasn't just a corporate theme day on Wednesday, but the IPRMSA club had also held an Artisan Cafe at the ADP block, which is block E at level 1. The foods - tuna potato salad, fruit punch, jelly, sausages and mashed potato with cheese sauce - were selling fast like hot cakes that we packed up and closed the "stall" about half an hour earlier than expected.

Me as the unsung member of the club helped out a little with the fruit punch. And that's all I did, not more. Then at 4, Ian picked Dickson and I up at McDonald's to Midvalley as we decided to catch a movie before heading to Madam Kwan's for Sophia's dinner. Unfortunately, the plan ended in failure. Credits to Ian who came late..

Never mind. Dickson came out with a "brilliant" idea, which was to go to Nana's place and play the board game- "Cluedo". We had fun playing that game and I was the newbie who didn't know what to do. After Cluedo, we played Monopoly like we never played that board game before. Like a bunch of small little kids, we were easily entertained by having millions of dollars in hand. We were too engrossed in buying properties and houses as well as laughing at each other for having to pay heavy income taxes and rentals that we had literally forgotten about the time.

We were 15 minutes late for the dinner (sorry) but we weren't the last to arrive, fortunately. Sophia's father greeted us with a welcome handshake and we were introduced to Sophia's friend from Brunei. It was great meeting them. As I was wondering where Sophia's mother was, suddenly she appeared at the entrance of Madam Kwan's with shopping bags in her hands. She greeted us as well and then we had a little chat while waiting.

Awhile after we ordered, the trio - Ali, Ariq and Ariq's girlfriend - had finally arrived. Most of us ordered either Nasi Lemak or Nasi Boujari. The Nasi Lemak I ordered tasted incredibly delicious and I suppose the Nasi Boujari was similarly delectable too. It was a great dinner. Thank you Sophia for inviting us and Sophia's parents for treating us =) We really had a whale of time there. Thank you once again xD

It really was a tiring day. I reached home at about 9.30 pm. However, I slept with a satisfying stomach that night :D No pics :P

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall indeed

Yesterday, I was a little pissed off talking to Desmond after class. He just can't seem to shut his mouth and stop those nonsense of his. Let me give you an example. When I asked him where is he going, he said he is going to see some hot girls. Not only that, almost all my other questions were answered without seriousness in them.

Desmond, can you be more serious when people is talking to you? And whenever I asked him to stop uttering craps, he would laugh at my face saying that I'm a funny guy. Crap. He's just acting like Xian Long's brother.

Anyway, it's just a petty problemo. The main reason I blog is because I went to the curve yesterday! With who? Chuan Chuen of course but Michelle wanted to tag along. So, it's the three of us again watching THE INCREDIBLE HULK. We stop by at McDonald's to have our lunch after queueing up to buy the movie tickets. It was very crowded there. Maybe it's because of Father's Day?

It was undeniable that the movie was great, but I had some unsolved questions in my mind when it ended. For example, "What happened to Blonsky in the end" and "How about Professor Samuel Sterns? Is he going to be like Blonsky because of Bruce's blood dripping on his forehead?". Maybe all those questions will be solved in the next sequel, THE INCREDIBLE HULK 2. Who knows?

Back home, one of the cuckoo clock in my house was being knocked down by my far far away relative because of some carelessness. Fortunately, the cuckoo clock was not badly damaged. So, no worries.

P.S. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all fathers in the world! (in advance) =)

What can I say?

My "perfect" little day started off with me getting out from my bed forcefully. I slept late last night just to prepare myself for today's - expected to be confusing and difficult but turned out to be unexpectedly easy - Statistics quiz. I actually read that thick book borrowed from a "friend" - Andrew. Come to think of it, I realised how silly I am.

I felt like a dope now trying to describe my ever boring little life. But what things are there for me to do in HELP college for 3 hours with no other friends around? Pitty me. That's why I decided to "hang out" at the most "interesting" place in HELP - the Learning Space. But yet, sitting in front of the black box makes me want to fall asleep instantly. Please..

Let me tell you how it feels.

1. I signed in my msn via ebuddy, looking at the number of people online.. *yawn*
2. Tried watching my favourite anime online - Naruto.. *failed*
3. Read a few blogs.. *boring*
4. Study? Quizzes just over..
5. Blog? There's nothing to blog about, but trying to just to kill time.

That's how it feels to be alone in the Learning Space for about 2 hours. Somebody please brighten up my life for Pete's sake. =/

Life goes on

With petrol prices rising precipitously, my life is going to be far more worst than miserable. Just Kidding.

Last Saturday, I had my dinner at Sakae Sushi with my family instead of hanging out with my friends for the second yumcha session at Murni in SS2, which I regretted a little. The meal I had at Sakae Sushi wasn't delectable and worth it as compared to Sushi Zanmai, trust me.

Let me give you an example. The Sashimi served at Sushi Zanmai at the One Utama outlet are so much fresher and thicker as compared to the one I ate that day at Sakae Sushi. The price was way more expensive at Sakae Sushi too. It's like RM5.90 for 4 thin pieces of salmon? So not worth it.

Lousy Sashimi

The Gyu Donburi I ordered was quite delicious though. It's something like grilled beef with onions plus Japanese rice. (I am not supposed to eat beef actually :p) But it's not very filling. We ordered Sukiyaki as well. Frankly speaking, that was the suckiest dish. The Shiru - soup was excessively sweet that I had to actually add hot water to dilute it. What nonsense man. I would never dine there again unless I am forced to.

Gyu Donburi

I would rather eat at Murni if I knew the food was going to be that bad. Anyway, I have to find another time to go yumcha with Khy Li. We have been planning to go yumcha since the beginning of the year. Stop delaying already!

Besides, my assignments and homeworks are gradually piling up and turning into a summit. Soon, I won't be able to hang out on weekends but to stay home to accomplish some deforestation projects.

Ok. Have to finish up my macroeconomics and statistics assignment and prepare for the up-coming quizzes now. Ciao.

Name 5 people you think of right off the top of your head. Don’t read the questions underneath until you write the names of all 5 people. This is a lot funnier if you randomly list the names first. NO CHEATING!!

1. Chuan Chuen
2. Michelle
3. Wei Guan
4. Dickson
5. Ian

1. How did you meet number 1? (Chuan Chuen)
I can vaguely remember how we actually met each other but I know it was during our first year in Yew Ee Kindergarten. We have been studying in the same school for 15 years and we are like brothers. Although he is not studying in HELP University College now with me, yet our friendship has never deteriorated. ;)

2. On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate your friendship with 1? (Chuan Chuen)
10. Since he is my best friend and we never fight over anything or piss each other off. A good friend like him is really hard to find.

3. How long have you known 4? (Dickson)
Haha. I know Dickson during the orientation day for all ADP students. So it's already 5 months if I did not miscalculate. How can I, right?

4. How do you know number 3? (Wei Guan)
Erm. We were in the same class for three consecutive years. I get to know her during form 3 but I first met her in my piano teacher's house. xD

5. Where is 5? (Ian)
Where's Ian? Where else? Must be dating with Nana somewhere.

6. A fact about number 1. (Chuan Chuen)
He can study for hours and of course play for hours as well.

7. Who is 4 going out with? (Dickson)
He's going out with Shao Nian, I think and hoping to go out with Poh Yee. Am I right? xD

8. What does 1 do for a living? (Chuan Chuen)
Playing online games during the holidays, hardcore studying when exam's around the corner and chatting with girlfriend via handphone everynight?

9. What do you like about number 2? (Michelle)
I can converse with her easily. No restrictions of language :D

10. Do you miss number 5? (Ian)
We meet everyday, except for weekends. Even if we don't meet that often, I'm not supposed to be the one missing him :)

11. Would you live with number 3? (Wei Guan)
Hmm. Why not? Just have to ask for her permission.

12. Would you make out with number 4? (Dickson)
Definitely not. We are not gays.

13. What’s your opinion of number 2? (Michelle)
She's a good friend but we often argue over small matters.

14. What’s your favourite memory with number 5? (Ian)
Playing basketball with the children in the Shelter Home.

15. What would you do if number 1 and 2 were going out? (Chuan Chuen & Michelle)
It's normal for Chuan Chuen to bring his Girlfriend - Michelle out xD

16. Ever had a long conversation with 5? (Ian)
Not really.

17. Have you slept at 2’s house? (Michelle)
No. Why do I have to sleep at her house? Her house is so near to mine.

18. Do you hang out with 3 alot? (Wei Guan)
Unfortunately not. But we just hang out last Friday :)

19. Who have you known the longest? (Chuan Chuen)
I know him since kindergarten. Is that long enough?

20. How often do you talk to 1? (Chuan Chuen)
I used to talk to him everyday in school. But now, since we are not studying in the same college, I seldom have the chance to meet up with him to have a chat, unless I go to his house on Saturdays.

21. How about 2? (Michelle)
I talk to her when she comes online.

22. Have you ever thought 3 more than a friend? (Wei Guan)
Frankly speaking.. Yeap.

23. Would you go out for a date with 5? (Ian)
Definitely. But I don't seem to have the chance. He's fully orientated towards Nana.

24. Do you dream about 2? (Michelle)
Never in my life.

25. What did number 4 do to you that you can never forget? (Dickson)
He took my handphone and camwhored during microeconomics class. My God.

26. What have you done for 1 that the person never forgets? (Chuan Chuen)
We went to China and Korea together during the holidays and sat start cruise to Thailand. What a wonderful experience.

27. Whats 3’s hobby? (Wei Guan)
Err. Shopping?

I tag:
All bloggers.

Friday Outing

Li Foong's plan went well, so planning isn't that bad after all right?

It started off with Wei Guan driving Li Foong, Joanna and me to One Utama (I know it's supposed to be the other way round). Then we met up with Michelle and Wei Hoong (who was supposed to be attending LAN classes in Taylor's) at GSC.

We then decided to watch - Someone Behind You, as there were no other movies to watch.

Once again, Wei Guan drove all of us except Michelle to Ming Tien to yumcha after the movie. Unfortunately, I had to leave early to One Utama again with my parents for dinner. T.T

Sorry, no pics! See here!
Wonder how we got into that little wooden cottage,
Eight doors away from her father's.
It was during a dark freezing snowy winter that,
Grizzly bears had to hibernate in their caves.
Unaffected by the extreme weather,
All of us were having fun beside the little fire place.
Never realising it later that only both of us were left alone.
In reality we seemingly were,
Luckless, it was merely a dream that did not last for long.
Occasions when we frolicked in that cottage of memories were unforgettable,
Very much as well the moment I hugged you tightly in my arms,
Ensuring never to leave you ever again.
Your beauty shall never fade as I behold,
Over and over again but never get bored of,
Until someday I believe that my care for you shall be surfaced.
